About Broken Arrow Red Angus
Over 20 years ago, we bought some of the best females from some of the top producers in the country and then began to slowly and intentionally build a performance herd based primarily on phenotype.
Our goal from the beginning was to produce bulls that we would be excited to use on our commercial herd. That meant focusing less on the numbers and more on how their calves were performing at weaning and at the sale barn.
Our main operation is commercial cattle and that helps us produce bulls that work for you! Every replacement must produce good calves as cows, stay in good condition and breed back. If they don’t we cull them.
Only the best performing cattle stay here at the ranch and nothing is pampered. While we focus primarily on phenotype we do use A.I. to enhance EPDs. When choosing genetics to incorporate into our registered herd thru A.I. and herd bulls we look for a well balanced EPD profile. Udders, good feet, fleshing ability and most important, docility are what we believe should be the foundation of a good cow.

The Stapleton Family
Jeremy & Sara Stapleton are a multi-generational farm and ranch family. Born and raised in Kansas, Jeremy was born to be a cattleman. Sara was born in Texas, but claims the Kansas plains and prairie as her home since she was 3. Together they have 2 sons, Preston and Westynn, and a daughter and her husband, Cambree and Luke Kishpaugh.
First and foremost we love Jesus and what he has done for us on the cross through the power of his blood! We hope that in addition to finding the cattle that fit your operation you find the joy and salvation of Jesus Christ too!
